The Drive Position Indicator (DPI)

Safe, Fast and Simple Final Drive Servicing

The Drive Position Indicator (DPI) is the first system developed with the sole purpose of orienting the drive axles for service. Precisely position the drive to fill, drain, level check or sample in seconds.

Benefits

Increased Safety

Less climbing in and out of the cab lowers the risk of slips, trips and falls, and reduces the physical strain on the operator.

Faster Servicing

Real-time feedback on the drive position takes away the guess work. Save as much as 5 - 10 minutes per wheel by avoiding multiple forward and backward adjustments.

Simplified Operations

Device can be operated by a single person from inside the cab, eliminating the need for someone outside the vehicle to communicate wheel position.

How it Works

  1. Attach the magnetic DPI Sensor to the wheel.
  2. Point the arrow which corresponds to the desired service operation (fill, drain, level or sample) at the plug being serviced.
  3. Enter the cab with the Indicator unit and start the equipment.
  4. Move the equipment forward or backward. When the track drive or wheels have rotated into the required position, the DPI Indicator unit signals with a green light.

How Much Could The DPI Save You?

How many minutes does it take to service one wheel or track?

How many wheels or tracks do you service in a week?

What is the hourly rate?

* Numbers and decimal points only.

Note: The above estimated savings is based on the DPI reducing wheel/track servicing time by at least 5 mins
